Do you fund general operating costs for non-profits? If so, under what conditions?
Our funds usually take the form of project support for non-profits, but within that, we always consider costs associated with supporting the basic administrative needs of the organization.
Restrictions/Limitations:
§ We do not provide support to for-profit organizations or organizations that discriminate based on race, religion, etc.
§ We normally give fairly small grants through our competitive grant processes.
Application Process:
The first three grant categories listed above have simple online competitive processes. There are no competitive grants given at this time for the last two categories listed above (camp maintenance and geography education).
Preferred contact from potential grantees:
Interested stakeholders can email our general “grants” box, or contact one of the staff by email or phone.
We would like potential grantees to know…
We appreciate learning about how best to partner with non-profits. We recognize the quality and experience that our program providers offer the fields, and without these providers, we cannot succeed in delivering on our mission of investing philanthropic dollars effectively.
Gray Family Foundation continues to refine its grant process. Please review the Foundation website for changes in the process prior to submitting a grant proposal.
