Restrictions/ Limitations:
No capital funding, must be a 501(c)3 or other tax exempt organization, must serve critical unmet needs, must serve Jackson County, must be in business for more than two years. Standards are available on the UnitedWayofJacksonCounty.org website.
Application Process:
Applications are accepted every two years for United Way funding, volunteers review applications and conduct site review. Decision timeline is 3 months.
Funding period is July 1 through June 30.
WomenLiving Leadership (WiLL), United Way’s women’s leadership council, offers grants annually for innovative and creative programs helping women and children in transition. Grants are due in December and funding begins in February.
